Attention land trusts, municipalities, and others interested in farmland protection! Are you considering a farmland preservation project, and/or are interested in improving the management and use of farm properties on which you hold an easement or own outright, this session is for you.
Topics will include:
- Technical assistance, including the Farmland Protection Circuit Rider Program
- State and Federal Easement and Conservation Programs
- CT Dept of Agriculture Grant Opportunities
- Partnering Opportunities
- Leasing farmland and finding farmers
- There will be ample opportunity for Q&A.
